County Assessor Tim Wallinger, County Treasurer Shelly Ross and County Clerk Cathy Pavel were also in attendance. This meeting publicized pursuant to Section 84-1411 R.R.S. 1943. Notice of meeting given in advance thereof by publication in paper as shown by Affidavit of Publication on September 19, 2024, in the Holt County Independent. Chairman Frahm convened the meeting at 9:30 A.M. with the flag salute. Motion by Paxton, 2nd by Tielke, to approve the minutes of the September 16, 2024, meeting as printed. Chief Deputy Sheriff Ed Nordby was present to discuss purchasing a pickup for the Sheriff's Department through the state bid process. Motion by Breiner, 2nd by Keyes, to purchase a new 2024 Ford F150 Super Cab 4x4 SSV Police Utility Vehicle for $49,446.00 from Anderson Ford, through the state bid process. Marv Fritz, Planning and Zoning Administrator was present to update the Board on the Conditional Use Permit application for the Commercial Solar Conversion development in Knox and Holt County. Motion by Frahm, 2nd by Paxton, to accept the Holt County Audit Report for July 1, 2023, through June 30, 2024, as prepared by the Nebraska State Auditors.
