Stanton — Laramie "Larry" Lamont Lanz, 58, of Stanton, formerly of Bassett and Lynch, died Friday, Aug. 30, 2024 at Faith Regional Hospital in Norfolk.

Visitation will be held from 10-11 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 28, 2024 at Stonacek Funeral Chapel in Norfolk.

Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 28, 2024 at the funeral chapel in Norfolk.

Memorials may be made to the family for future designation.

Laramie “Larry” Lamont Lanz was born on March 15th, 1966 to Lonnie and Wilma (Wilson) Lanz in Bassett. Larry was born and raised in Bassett. Larry worked on the ranch and also drove truck while in Bassett. 

Larry married Lynette (Morey) and to this union a son Laramie Jacob was born in 1986. 

Then in 1995, Larry married Yvette Shaw of Lynch and to this union came Tucker and Lacey. 

Larry would eventually move to Stanton where he started Lanz Trucking.

Larry is survived by his wife Yvette of Stanton; three kids Laramie Jacob (Keisha) of Papillion, Tucker Lanz (Rachel Paulson) of Norfolk and Lacey (TJ) Ketelsen of Stanton; three stepchildren Cassandra (Andy) Thomson of Neligh, Whitney (Tucker) Kayl of Spencer and Chance (Kara) Thomson of Waverly; 11 grandchildren Kayden, Kyler and Kellen Kayl of Spencer, Jase Thomson of Neligh, Ceely Dietz of Stanton, Taytum Thomson of Waverly, Lee'O Lanz of Norfolk, Taysom Ketelsen of Stanton, Caleb Lanz of Papillion, and Taenen Ketelsen and Gracie Ketelsen of Stanton; two brothers John (Shelly) Lanz of Howells and Lonnie Lanz Jr. of Bassett; along with many nieces, nephews, cousins and relatives.
