Last week was busy for the St. Mary's Lady Cardinals, as they hosted three opponents and managed to take them all down. Their first competitor was Bloomfield on Tuesday. The first half of the match gave the Cardinals a considerable 11-point lead. Bloomfield started to close the gap with a four-point advantage in the third. The Cards brought it back to them with a victorious fourth quarter to take the match 50-41. Pyper Ickes led the team to victory with 18 points, eight rebounds and five steals; Annabelle Barlow had 11 points, two rebounds and three steals; Emerson Mlnarik nine points, three rebounds and two steals; Gracie Williamson seven points, seven rebounds and three steals; Adyson Peterson five points, five rebounds and four steals and Lily Bauer one steal. The whole game was a wash, with the Cards never allowing the Bobcats to score over 10 points in a quarter. Meanwhile, the Cards consistently put up double-digits to claim the win. Hot off the heels of some incredible matches, the Cardinals also brought the heat in this match. They put up big numbers in the beginning to ensure their victory in the end.
