Farmers Pride Invests In Community With Grants

FIRE DEPARTMENT GRANT - Adam Kurtz of the O'Neill Fire Department accepts matching grant fund money from Chris Alder of Farmers Pride.

Farmers Pride is a member of Land O Lakes and through this membership is able to access grants for local communities provided by the Land O Lakes Foundation. Through this foundation, Land O Lakes and Farmers Pride give back to the rural communities where members, employees, and facilities are located. 

Farmers Pride is proud to support our local fire departments who serve our members and communities in our greatest time of need. 

This year for 2025, the O'Neill Fire Department is receiving a grant for the purchase of new chainsaws to assist the department in rescue and fire response.  Farmers Pride and Land O Lakes congratulate & thank the O'Neill Fire Department for their commitment and service to our local community.

  “The Land O'Lakes Foundation's mission is to serve the many communities where our members and employees live and work,” says Lydia Botham, Land O'Lakes Foundation Executive Director and Vice President of Community Relations. “Through programs like our member matches, we partner with our members to fight hunger, support education and strengthen communities.”  The Member Co-op Match Program matches dollar-for-dollar the cash donation of member cooperatives, thus doubling the funds available for hometown projects. By matching funds for projects selected and funded by member cooperatives, the Land O'Lakes Foundation leverages local funding efforts and ensures community support for programs.
