The Clearwater Annual Rodeo and concert will be held this weekend The Rodeo will begin on Friday, June 27, at 7 p.m., with Mutton Bustin' and the crowning of the Clearwater Rodeo Queen. Friday, after the Rodeo, Borderline will play on main street in Clearwater. On Saturday, the events will start at 6 p.m. with Mutton Bustin' followed by the Rodeo. The entertainment starts at 8 p.m. with the band Borderline, then at 9 p.m. it's Bayker Blankenship and at 10 p.m. headliner Gavin Adcock takes the stage. Nineteen-year old Bayker Blankenship from Livingston, Tennessee has had one heck of a few months, going from playing his first home town gigs to signing his first record deal and going viral with his first hit “Maxed Out" in a short amount of time. “Maxed Out” is hitting new peaks at such an incredible speed- to name a few, it reached number 2 on the Spotify Viral charts, number 43 on Apple Country, and has over 100k creates on TikTok. Bayker has garnered over 40M+ streams in just a few months. “Maxed Out” highlights Bayker as one of Country's rising stars, with fans falling for his bright personality and warm heart along the way. Bayker's debut EP “Younger Years" released in July 2024, hitting over 4M+ streams the first week and making it obvious he is far from a one-hit wonder. Headliner Gavin Adcock is a Georgia native born and raised in Watkinsville. Former Georgia Southern University football player, Gavin grew up working on his family cattle farm and dreamed of riding bulls in the PBR. He started writing songs in high school, but it wasn't until the spring of 2021, when Adcock tore his knee playing football, that he used his healing time to record and release his first original single. Since then, Gavin has released multiple singles, collectively amassing over 1 billion global streams including the fan-favorite “A Cigarette” raking in 150 million+ alone, along with his new album, Actin' Up Again, which was crowned the largest major-label country debut from a solo male artist released in 2024. With more than 15 million on-demand U.S. streams week of release, Actin' Up Again was also 2024's top streaming major-label debut across the whole genre. On the heels of Actin' Up Again, Adcock's headlining tour dates continue to sell out almost as soon as they announce, with plenty of more dates being added, along with major festival appearances, throughout 2025. Borderline is a party band playing anything from Merle Haggard to AC/DC, and tons of red dirt.
