Anna L. Kolar

Lynch — Anna Louise Kolar, 85, of Lynch, died Monday, June 16, 2025, at the Accura Healthcare Center in O'Neill.

Private family services will be held at a later date.

Memorials may be made to the family for future designation.

Biglin's Mortuary in O'Neill is in charge of the arrangements.

Anna was born in Monowi, to Frank and Vesta (Burger) Lewis. Anna grew up in Monowi and attended Lynch High School. She graduated with the class of 1957.  

After high school Anna worked as a clerk and also as a rural mail carrier for the United States Postal Service.  

She met Charles J. Kolar and they later married on June 6, 1959 in Butte. To this union three children were born Mary, Nancy and Joseph.

She loved her taking care of her flower gardens; especially her geraniums. Anna also enjoyed sewing, crocheting, and also loved her cats.

Anna is survived by her two daughters Mary Kolar of Lincoln and Nancy Berg of O'Neill; four grandchildren Benjamin Berg of Minnesota, Rebecca Berg of Atkinson, Sarah (Brian) Berg of Emmett and Charles (Mindy) Martin of Lincoln; 11 great-grandchildren; one brother Orval Lewis of Council Bluffs, Iowa; and one sister-in-law Betty (Wayne) Cline of Fort Collins, CO.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Charles, one son Joseph, one granddaughter Amber Murphy, one son-in-law William Berg and two sisters Ruth Lee and Emily Milacek.
