The Cardinal boys saw a little more action this week on Monday when they traveled to Chambers to face the Renegades. The Cards started off hot, taking an early lead by five points. Quarter two the Cards went on the offensive and widened the gap by nine more points, totaling a 14 point advantage going into third quarter. By the end of quarter three, the Renegades were starting to come closer to matching the Cards, but they were already too far behind to catch up. In the final quarter, the Renegades made one last push to tip the game in their favor, scoring a solid two points over the Cards. At this point, however, the Cards had already made their mark and won the game 63-47. Hedstrom makes his way to the top with 23 points, shooting two of nine three-pointers for 22 percent and seven of 13 two-pointers for 54 percent, as well as eight rebounds; Everitt just behind with 21 points and three rebounds; Dannenbring nine points and four rebounds; Barlow five points and three rebounds; Kyle Pribil three points; Joe Wiese two points; and Dawson two rebounds.
