The NVC Conference wrapped up last week, and the Stuart Broncos landed themselves a commendable third overall place. They played their first round Saturday, Feb. 1 against Niobrara/Verdigre and downed them 70-32 and advanced. On Monday, Feb. 3, they faced EPPJ and suffered a loss. The Broncos held their ground against their opponent, but the second-quarter pressure got the best of them, and the Wolfpack overpowered them. Hunter Tubbs managed to score big with 20 points and 12 rebounds; Kayde Ramm had seven points and two steals and Drew Schmaderer had two points and five rebounds.
