The Lady Cardinals had a good week of play, dominating Neligh/Oakdale 71-30 and then traveling to Springview to face the North Central Knights, sliding by them 56-52. On Tuesday against the Warriors, the Cards' opponent just couldn't keep up with the Cardinals, who outscored them in every quarter and had a 38-18 lead at the half. The Cards kept going strong in the second half, scoring another 33 points on the Warriors. The Warriors had Jaycee Gadeken, who scored 22 of Neligh's points and was the next-highest scorer for them with three. Gracie Williamson scored 26 points and had four rebounds and five steals; Annabelle Barlow 17 points, three rebounds and four steals; Emerson Mlnarik 13 points, seven rebounds and seven steals; Adyson Peterson nine points, six rebounds and two steals; and Pyper Ickes six points, seven rebounds and one steal. The first half of the match saw the Cards lead at the half 24-21. The Knights came out in the third and gained a six-point lead, with the Cards holding on and regaining three points to send the game into overtime with the Cards outscoring the Knights 8-4.
