The CWC Renegades had a close game on Friday, Oct. 4 in Palmer unfortunately the Renegades fell to the Palmer Tigers 36-28. The scoring was sparse in the first quarter with neither team getting into the endzone. The Tigers got into the endzone first to put them up 8-0 in the second. The Renegades scored next putting them on the board. The Tigers scored once more right before the half going into halftime with a six point lead. Both teams scored six in the third and Palmer edged out the Renegades in the fourth scoring 16 to their 14 points. Leading the Renegade in rushing was Cooper Pokorny with 15 carries for 102 yards and one touchdown; Michael Jesse had 11 carries for 41 yards and one touchdown; Elijah Heinz had three carries for 10 yards; and Mason Knox one carry for four yards. Leading the receivers were Pokorny with three catches for 49 yards and one touchdown; Heinz three catches for 48 yards; Jacob Haburchak four catches for 19 yards and one touchdown; Knox and Carter Metschke each had two catches for nine yards. Leading the defense was Jesse with 14 tackles; Pokorny with nine tackles; Knox and Heinz each had five; Zane Potter had four tackles; Maddox McManigal, Jackson Wright and Hayes Pokorny each with two tackles; and Metschke and Kayden Isom with one each.
