Stuart High School is preparing for its upcoming Homecoming celebration, scheduled for Sept. 7th through 12th. The Homecoming coronation and a kick-off pep rally will take place on Sunday, Sept. 7th, at 5 p.m. in the gymnasium. The evening's festivities will begin with a pep rally from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m., followed by the coronation. The 2025 Homecoming Queen and King candidates are Cecelia Addison, daughter of Jay & Sarah Addison, Jasmine Davis, daughter of Trent Price & Desiree Davis, Morgan Menke, daughter of Kesha Gentele and Eric & Shianne Menke, Owen Littau, son of Brock & Kate Olson, Kayde Ramm, son of Justin & Megan Ramm, and Drew Schmaderer, son of Jon & Jennifer Schmaderer.
Students, faculty, and staff at Stuart Public School will celebrate Homecoming with their daily dress-up days. Monday, Sept. 8th will be pajama day, Tuesday is twin day along with a pep rally at 1 p.m., name day will be on Wednesday where everyone is asked to dress like the first letter of their name, Thursday will be color day with each class assigned a specific color and a pep rally will take place at 9 a.m., and Friday will be Bronco Pride day. Athletic events for the week will include Junior High volleyball and football action at Boyd County on Monday, Sept. 8th, at 4 p.m. and 5 p.m., respectively. On Tuesday, Sept. 9th, the Lady Broncos volleyball team will play at EPPJ in Elgin at 5 p.m. On Thursday, Sept. 11th, the Cross Country team will compete at Boyd County at 4:40 p.m. To conclude the week's events, the Stuart Broncos will take on the Silver Lake Mustangs in football action at 2 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 12th.
