The Lady Cardinals traveled to Grand Island for a Holiday tournament, playing Grand Island Central Catholic and North Platte St. Patrick's. The Cardinals made easy work of the North Platte team, downing them 61-14. The halftime score was 35-9, and the Irish scored only five in the second half. Mya Hedstrom led with 20 points, three rebounds, and ten steals; Allisa Brabec had a strong 17 points, three rebounds, and two steals; Lorissa Reiman had eight points, 11 rebounds, and two steals; Annabelle Barlow five points, three rebounds and four steals; Adyson Peterson five points; Lily Bauer, Piper Ickes, and Gracie Williamson all had two points in the game. The Cards fell in this highly competitive game 43-32. The Cards played hard, having a tie at the half, 18. The Crusaders pulled away in the second half for the 11-point win. Hedstrom led again, putting up 12 points, seven rebounds, and five steals and had four fouls; Brabec had nine points and one rebound; Reiman had four points and ten rebounds; Williamson had four points and three rebounds; and Barlow had three points and four rebounds.
