State Bound excitement - The Lady Cardinals had reason to celebrate after their district win over Paxton.

The St. Mary's Lady Cardinals  will b heading to Lincoln again this week to participate in the Nebraska Girls State Basketball tounrey. The Cards defeated Paxton 75-42 in the D2-3 District Final on Friday, Feb. 24th at Broken Bow. 

The Lady Cards advance to the State Tournament in Class D2 as they earned the number three seed and will take on the number six seed Wynot at the Devaney Sports Center on Thursday, March 2nd at 7:45 p.m.

Wynot won their district game against Overton  by a score of 53-36.
