The O'Neill girl's golf team placed second at the 15 team invite in Pierce on Saturday, Sept. 14 and followed that up with a team championship at the O'Neill Invite on Monday, Sept. 16.
O'Neill scored a team low for the year of a 404 at the Pierce Invite to only be edged out by Boone Central by 10 strokes to finish second.
O'Neill followed this up with a team championship at the O'Neill Invite as they shot a team score of 414 compared to runner up Battle Creek with a 435.
O'Neill was lead by Hailee Harmon who placed fifth at Pierce with a 94 and was runner-up in O'Neill with a 92. Paige Gaughenbaugh and Amy Schmitz also placed individually at the two tournaments.
Gaughenbaugh placed 14th at Pierce with a 103 and fifth at O'Neill with a 98. Schmitz placed 10th at Pierce with a score of 100 and 13th at O'Neill with a score of 108.
Other varsity scores at Pierce were Davita Dick 107, and Marie Sitz 121. At the O'Neill Invite Dick had a score of 116 and Sitz scored a 134.
Junior Varsity scores at the O'Neill Invite were Olivia Fonseca 126, Sam Slack 132, Tejlor Strope 133, Allison Beckwith 148, and Grace Bunner 161.
