Lady Cards Travel To Hartington For Games

On Tuesday, Sept. 2, the Cardinals hosted the Winside Wildcats, who went toe to toe with the Cards. The Cards defeated the Wildcats 25-21,25-13 and 25-21.

Gracie Williamson led the Cards with 18 kills and 14 digs; Tatum Ickes had 11 kills, three ace serves and four digs; Anna Otte eight kills and six digs; Adyson Peterson four kills, two ace serves, 12 digs and 38 set assists; Halle Boetcher three kills and 12 digs; Delany Drueke three kills and 10 digs and Bethany Leisy with 11 digs.

The Lady Cardinals hit the road this weekend, traveling to Hartington for a quad.

The Cards faced the Omaha Nation Chiefs at Hartington. The Chiefs played the Cards tough but fell in two sets, 25-22 and 25-18.

Leading the Cards were Williamson with seven kills and eight digs; Otte five kills, one block, and one dig; Ickes four kills, three ace serves, one block, and six digs; Drueke two kills, five aces and eight digs; Boetcher had one kill and nine digs; Peterson had one kill, nine digs, and 14 set assists; and Leisy had three digs.

The Lady Cards won in two sets over the Hartington-Newcastle Wildcats, winning 25-16 and 31-29.

Leading the Cards were Williamson with 14 kills and five digs; Ickes with eight kills, four ace serves and 11 digs;  Peterson with three ace serves, eight digs and 27 set assists; Boetcher with three kills, one ace serve and eight digs; Drueke with three kills and six digs; Otte with two digs and Leisy with three digs.
