The CWC Renegades traveled to Springview last Friday and took on a salty North Central Knights program. The Renegades came out on top, winning 54- 20. The Renegades are led this season by Trey Blackmore, rushing so far with 105 yards per game; Michael Jesse averaging 109 yards passing thus far; Michael Jesse with 155 yards total per game; Jackson Wright with 11 tackles per game. Jesse had 12 attempts for nine completions and one touchdown in the match. Leading rushers were: Blackmore with 15 carries for 173 yards and three touchdowns; Jesse had six carries for 79 yards and two touchdowns; and Hayes Pokorny had 15 carries for 71 yards and one touchdown. Leading receivers for the Renegades were Blackmore with two catches for 26 yards; Mason Knox, three catches for 42 yards and one touchdown; Jackson Wright, three catches for 15 yards; and Kayden Isom, one catch for 15 yards. Leading the defense was Pokorny and Wright, each with 10 tackles; Knox had nine tackles; Isom had five tackles; Carter Metschke, Jesse, Blackmore and Daniel Kluver each had four tackles; Parker Freouf and Garet Renner each had three tackles; Jayden Hewitt and Madden McManigal each had two tackles, and Casey Freouf had one tackle. The Renegades will take on Elgin on Friday, Sept. 12.
