Stuart Broncos Boys Fall In Quarterfinals

The Stuart Bronco Football team's season came to an end last Friday night in the quarterfinals of the football playoffs. The Broncos hosted the #1 seed SEM Mustangs. The Mustangs were up 8-7 after a well-played 1st quarter by both teams. The Broncos couldn't get their offense going and the final score was SEM 28-7. 

The air attack worked well for the Broncos as Kayde Ramm threw for 141 yards and 1 touchdown. Ben Paxton led the receivers with 3 catches for 68 yards and 1 touchdown. Ramm led the rushing attack, as well. He had 4 carries or 38 yards. Will Paxton had 8 carries or 24 yards and Simon Addison had 4 carries for 14 yards. Addison also had 2 catches for 12 yards. 

The defense played well throughout the game. Owen Littau was all over the place recording 16 tackles for the contest. Littau also recovered a fumble. Ben Paxton had 11 tackles and Hunter Tubbs had 10 tackles and 1 interception. Simon Addison wasn't far behind with 8 tackles for the game. 

We would like to recognize the 3 seniors this season, Will Paxton, Cory Gubbels and Simon Addison for their dedication and success to the program. This was a great season due to the part of you three.
