Promoted To Brigadier General-Jesse Jonathan Friedel

Jesse is a native of Atkinson and his spouse Jennifer (Johnston) Fridel is from O'Neill. Jesse is a 1992 graduate of West Holt High School and a 1996 graduate from the United States Air Force Academy. He has served our nation for over 26 years and that includes being stationed in South Korea twice, Germany twice, Japan twice and also served in Iraq and Afghanistan and in support of coalition efforts in Lybia. He has been an F-16 fighter pilot most of his career and commanded at the flights,squadron and wing levels. He is currently the Deputy Commander for the Fifth Airforce and Director, Pacific Air Forces Joint Air Component Coordination Element, stationed at Yokota AB, Japan.
