Page Fire Chief Rod Isom helps one of the youngsters spray the firehose following the Fireman's Water Fight at last year's Page Community Day.

The Community of Page will be celebrating Community Day on Saturday, July 29 and has a lot of activities planned for the whole family!

The day will start at 9 a.m. with the Frederick Cronk Memorial Trap Shoot on the south edge of Page (follow the signs).

At 11 a.m. the kids sand dig will begin behind the Kountry Korner Cafe and there will be burgers, and other tasty things, served in Lamason's Park. Serving will continue through 2 p.m.

Free watermelon will be offered in Lamason's Park beginning at 1 p.m.

Be sure to attend the Flea Market, taking place at the Fire Hall from 1-4 p.m.

The kids bike parade will begin at 1 p.m. followed by the bike giveaway. This is free to all kids to enter.

The big parade will follow the bikes. Entries are still needed, please call Heath Wilson at 402-340-1755 to register your parade entry.

There will be basketball at Bec's Court with Bob Ickes throughout the afternoon.

At 2 p.m. get ready for the ping pong drop! Kids might rack up some good prizes!

There will also be a kids bounce house from 2-6 p.m. and the kids barrel train will be running throughout the afternoon.

The fireman's water fight will begin at 2:30. All firemen, or firemen wannabe's are welcome. Bring a team, or come yourself, and you'll be placed on a team.

At 3:30 you could win a cake at the cake walk.

The turtles will be off and racing at the turtle race at 4:30.

A smoked pork supper will be served at the fire hall from 5-7 p.m. A free-will offering will be collected with proceeds going to the Community Day Club.

From 6-9 p.m. the KBRX cruise night will take place. The Boy Scouts will also be cooking Dutch oven cobblers during this time, so grab some dessert and watch the cars go by while listening to some great music!

Warm up your vocal cords and perform or just come watch the Open Mic performance outside the Kountry Korner Cafe from 7-10 p.m.

The Ren and Red Show, an open air street dance, will follow the Open Mic performance at the same location.

There will also be a kids movie in the Lamason's Park at dark, weather permitting.

Come join in the fun!
