Niobrara — Orpha Kalkowski, 89, of Niobrara, died Monday, May 19, 2025 at Alpine Village in Verdigre. Visitation will be held from 5-7 p.m. on Monday, May 26, 2025 at Assumption Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church in Lynch with a 7 p.m. wake service. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, May 27, 2025 at the church in Lynch. F. Bernard Starman will officiate. Burial will be in the Assumption Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Cemetery in Lynch. Memorials may be made to the family for future designation. Brockhaus Funeral Home in Niobrara is in charge of the arrangements.
