The O'Neill Cross Country program turned in a banner day on the course, capturing multiple team titles and racking up an impressive list of individual medalists.

The O'Neill boys' varsity team earned the team championship, led by a spectacular performance from Max Berg, who claimed the individual title. Teammates Paul Fonseca (2nd), Alonso Hernandez (4th), Tomas Arciniega (6th), Evan Cole (7th), and Brandon Romero (9th) packed the top 10 to secure the dominant win. Adding to the medal haul were Tyson Becker (11th) and Brock Latzel (15th). Other high school team members included Alex Nelson (17th), Alex Otter (20th), Luke Wilson (22nd), Logan Bradshaw (23rd), Isaac Sunum (26th), Gavin Kruse (27th), Kaleb Asche (28th), Tucker Cook (28th), and Shotara Tetsukawa (29th).

The Eagle girls' varsity squad also had a strong showing, finishing 2nd overall. Kiarra Kennedy (3rd), Taya Dickau (4th), and Lynn Miner (6th) led the way with top-six finishes. They were backed up by a string of medalists including Mollie Corkle (10th), Hailey Romesser (11th), Emma French (12th), Jailyn Romesser (13th), and Emma Bowder (14th) to complete a deep and balanced lineup.

At the junior high level, the Eagles swept the team races. The O'Neill junior high girls placed 1st, paced by Madia Sanchez (2nd), Mya McCormick (4th), and Remi Kurtz (4th), who all medaled. The junior high boys also ran to the team championship, led by Kyler Wettlaufer (1st) and Lane Dougherty (2nd) at the front of the pack. They were joined by a strong crew of medalists: Jase Sanders (6th), Leonarda Cavo (7th), Era French (8th), Fernando Cayax (9th), Justin Luzania (10th), and Alvaro Garcia (11th).

With titles at nearly every level and medalists filling the results sheet, the O'Neill cross country teams showed their depth, talent, and promise for the rest of the season.
