O'Neill Armory To Be Sold At Auction

The O'Neill Armory will be sold as is and will be transferred via quitclaim deed to the winning bidder.

The state is offering the property via an online auction.

There will be an onsite inspection opportunity on Nov. 20 from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m.. Bidding on the property will close on 12/13/2023 at 2 p.m. central time.

The property to be appraised consists of an existing one-story Special Purpose, Armory building generally located southwest of the intersection of East Hynes Avenue and North 4th Street in north central O'Neill. The subject is located on a single parcel with a site area of 90,251 square feet, or 2.07 acres.

The improvement is a one-story building and includes a gross building area of approximately 14,696 square feet. The building has historically operated as an armory facility and is partitioned to include office space, classroom areas, assembly hall, physical fitness room, kitchen, and multiple bathrooms.

The property was offered for sale to Holt County, the City of O'Neill and the school district before going to an open auction.
