O'NEILL'S AUBREY BLACKBURN - catches a hit in action NEN.

The Eagles lost 10-2 to NEN on Tuesday, Sept. 2 The Eagles haven't had much luck with NEN recently, as the team has come up short the last nine times they've met.

O'Neill's loss dropped their record down to 6-5. As for NEN, their win was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 7-1.

O'Neill lost against Centura back in October of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday, Sept. 6 The Eagles fell 7-3 to the Centurions. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

O'Neill saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Rylee Selby, who went 1-for-3 with one home run. Another was Tenzlie Sorenson, who went 2-for-3 with two runs and one double.

O'Neill dropped to 7-6 on Thursday, ending the team's three-game streak of wins on the road. They fell just short of the Pierce Bluejays by a score of 3-1. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Eagles of the 7-3 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

O'Neill saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Grace Drueke, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base and one run.

As part of the triangular the Eagles faced Ord. After only two runs in their last game, O'Neill made sure to put some runs up on the board against Ord on Thursday. The Eagles came out on top against the Chanticleers by a score of 10-2 (the very same score they lost by in their prior game). The result was nothing new for the Eagles, who have now won seven matches by six runs or more so far this season.

The team relied heavily on Tenzlie Sorenson, who got on base in all four of her plate appearances with three runs and one stolen base. Those three runs gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Bristol Scott, who got on base in two of her four plate appearances with two runs and one stolen base.

O'Neill always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .588. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

O'Neill is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-5 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.4 runs over those games. As for Ord, they dropped their record down to 2-8 with the loss, which was their 17th straight on the road dating back to last season.
