Lady Eagles Go 2-1 Last Week

The O'Neill Lady Eagles went 2-1 last week at Boone Central, competing against Boone Central and Ponca.

In the match against Boone Central, the Lady Eagles went 0-2, losing 26-24 in a close match and 26-25.

Leading the Eagles were Olivia Young with four kills, five ace serves and four digs, and Taylor Young with five kills and two blocks. Bergyn Classen had three kills and five digs; Hannah Hilker two kills, 14 set assists and two blocks; Autumn Jackson one kill, one ace serve and one dig; Serena Chavez four digs; Taylor Staroscik four digs; Madalynn Kelum one dig; and Ashley Sidak two kills and two digs.

The Eagles also faced the Ponca Indians at Albion, winning in three sets over Ponca 17-25, 25-18 and 25-23.

Leading the Eagles in this match was Sidak with nine kills, three ace serves and one block; Taylor Young with eight kills, one block and one dig; Autumn Jackson with eight kills, one ace serve, two blocks and six digs; Classen seven kills, one block and six digs; Olivia Young eight kills and seven digs; Kellum three ace serves and five digs; Hilker four digs; Chavez six digs; and Staroscik seven digs.
