The Lady Eagles are on top of the season, winning four games in a row. The Lady Eagles faced the Elkhorn Valley Falcons on Tuesday, September 2, and won in three sets, 25-17, 25-22, 23-25, and 25-22. Leading the Eagles were: Bergyn Classen with 11 kills, one block and seven digs; Taylor Young 10 kills and 18 digs; Mariah Kallhoff 12 kills, one ace serve, two blocks and eight digs; Autumn Jackson eight kills, one ace serve, one block and four digs; Hannah Hilker five kills,42 set assists and four ace serves, and 12 digs; Blakely Sudbeck five kills and four digs; Madalynn Kellum had four ace serves and three digs; Haley Fick had 10 digs. On Thursday, September 4, the Eagles hosted the Ponca Indians and the Boone Central Cardinals. The Eagles fell to the Cardinals 25-19, 16-25, and 25-22. Mariah Kallhoff led the Eagles with 12 kills, two ace serves and three digs; Young had 12 kills, one ace serve, two blocks and five digs; Sudbeck had nine kills; Classen had six kills, one block and four digs; Jackson five kills, one ace serve and six digs; Hannah Hilker two kills, seven digs and 46 set assists; and Haley Fick one ace serve and three digs. In action against the Ponca Indians, the Eagles easily defeated the Indians 25-15 and 25-12. Leading the Eagles were Young with 10 kills, two blocks and four digs; Classen eight kills and one dig; Mariah Kallhoff had six kills, one ace serve, one block and one dig; Hilker four kills, one ace serve, one block, 12 digs and 25 set assists; Jackson four kills, one ace serve and two digs; and Fick two ace serves and two digs; and Mia Lindsay one kill.
