The Lady Cards went 2-0 last week, downing the CWC Renegades in three sets and trudging through a close one with South Central winning in five sets 3-2. The Cards traveled to Chambers on Tuesday, Sept. 6, and won in three sets 25-12, 25-15 and 25-13. Mya Hedstrom led the Cards with 16 kills, two ace serves, one block, four digs and two set assists; Lorissa Reiman five kills, two ace serves, one block and seven digs; Emma Winkelbauer four kills and two blocks; Alissa Brabec three kills, two ace serves, one dig and 25 set assists; Gracie Williamson one kill and two ace serves. On Thursday, Sept. 8, the Cardinals took on South Central, who was undefeated. The Cards went five sets winning 26-24,15-25,23-25,29-27 and 15-13. Hedstrom had an incredible 26 kills, three ace serves and 30 digs; Reiman 18 digs, one ace serve and 19 digs; Brabec two kills, one ace serve and two blocks, 15 digs and 42 set assists; Winkelbauer two kills, one block and one dig; Anna Barlow one kill, four digs and one set assist; Hope Williamson, one kill, 33 digs and one set assist; Joslyn Eby one kill, six ace serves, one block and five digs.
