Lady Broncos Keep Going Strong

The Lady Broncos only played in one match this past week, a home game on Thursday during Homecoming week. The Broncos played a tough five set thriller against a tough opponent in Winside. 

The girls started out on fire with everything going their way. Aggressive serving and hitting, along with great defense and serve receive kept Winside on their heels. 

The third set Winside took over on the aggressive play and the Broncos made many unforced errors and lost their aggressive play which continued into the fourth set where Winside took that set easily. The Broncos came out a little hesitant in the fifth set getting down 0-4 right away. They played from behind most of the set until a switch went off. Strong blocking and net play helped the girls take the lead back and they were able to hold off Winside 15-13 in the final set. 

Coaches were proud how the girls kept playing tough during struggling play and how they never gave up.

Reagan Stracke helped clutch the match with 26 kills, four ace serves, three blocks, 10 digs and 16 set assists; Addie Ketteler had 21 kills, six ace serves, one block, 22 digs and 21 set assists; Paityn Sheffield five kills, one block, four digs and two set assists; Kyra Tubbs had two kills, one dig and four set assists; Cecelia Addison four ace serves and six digs; Addison Steinhauser one ace serve, five blocks and six digs; Elly Steinhauser 22 digs and four set assists and Megan Karo seven digs.
