Lady Broncos 22-3 On Season

The Lady Broncos picked up a couple of wins on the road and at home last week. The girls traveled to Ainsworth and played in a Tri against Ainsworth and North Central and hosted Cody Kilgore and Creighton. 

The girls won in straight sets both nights, with playing experience given to many team members. The Broncos will play Winside this coming Thursday and the following week the Niobrara Valley Conference Tournament will begin.

Addie Ketteler led the team against Ainsworth with 12 kills, seven digs and 10 set assists; Reagan Stracke had 11 kills, two blocks, 12digs and 10 set assists; Addison Steinhauser had four kills, two blocks and four digs; Paityn Sheffield had two kills and two digs; Kyra Tubbs had two kills, one dig and two set assists; Megan Karo had three ace serves and two digs; Elly Steinhauser had one ace serve, 11 digs and four set assists; Cecelia Addison had one dig and one set assist; and Klaire Ramm one dig.

Against North Central, Stracke hit 11 kills, two ace serves, five digs and five set assists; Ketteler had five kills, seven ace serves, one block, four digs and 10 set assists; A. Steinhauser had three kills, one ace serve, two blocks and five digs; Addison had one kill, one ace serve, one dig and two set assists; Sheffield had one kill and two digs; Karo had one ace serve and three digs; Alyssa Karo had one ace serve; and Tubbs and Ram both one dig each.

Stracke was again MVP over Cody-Kilgore with 11 kills, two ace serves, one block, seven digs and three set assists; A. Steinhauser had four kills, three blocks and two digs; Ketteler had three kills, two ace serves, six digs and nine set assists; Ramm had two kills; Sheffield had one kill and two digs; A. Karo had one kill; E. Steinhauser had three ace serves, 10 digs and one set assist; Addison had two ace serves, one dig and three set assists; and M. Karo and Tubbs both one dig each.

Against Creighton, Stracke still led with 10 kills, two ace serves, four digs and 10 set assists; Ketteler had six kills, two ace serves, three digs and seven set assists; A. Steinhauser had four kills, five ace serves, four digs and three digs; Sheffield had three kills and two digs; E. Steinhauser had nine digs and one set assist; M. Karo had three digs; Addison and Tubbs both one dig and two set assists each; and Ramm one dig.

The Broncos' stellar performance recently has propelled their record to 22-3 and they are currently at an 18-win streak.
