O'Neill Junior High Competes At State Cross Country Meet

The O'Neill Junior High boy's cross country team was well represented at the State Junior High Championships, where three Eagle runners competed in the Class C/D division.

Leading the way for O'Neill was Kyler Wettlaufer, who earned a state medal with a 13th-place finish out of 227 runners. Lane Dougherty followed with a solid performance, placing 85th, while Jase Sanders finished 167th in the highly competitive field.

It was a strong showing for the young Eagles, who capped off their season competing among the best middle school runners in Nebraska.
