O'NEILL'S TURNER HEISS -forces his way around a Central Catholic player in action last week.

The O'Neill boys basketball team move into their second week of this season's play, and it seems they have begun to struggle.

Their first game came on Thurs. Dec. 7 when the Eagles invited the Elkhorn Valley Falcons. From the start, things weren't looking too positive for the Eagles. Quarters one and two went the Falcons, putting them a fair bit ahead the Eagles.

Quarter three was the Eagle's first and last victory this match. In the final, the Falcons barely edged out the Eagles, and managed the win overall, 53-42.

Drew Morrow leads with 19 points, shooting two of six three-pointers for 33 percent and five of 17 two-pointers for 29 percent. Morrow also had one steal. Turner Heiss had 11 points, eight rebounds and two steals; Trevor Alder six points and one rebound; Colton Osborne two points and eight rebounds; Porter Mathews two points and five rebounds; Grant Dusatko two points; Evan Kopecky five rebounds; and Ryder Pokorny four rebounds and one steal.
