The CWC Renegades faced off in their last regular season game with the St. Mary's Cardinals and went home with a  32-24 loss. The game was exciting with each score being offset by the other team's, all with in short order of each other.

Kyle Loecker was the first Cardinal in the end zone on a nine yard run with no conversion. Brenden Pelster threw to Corbin Rasmussen on a 37 yard touchdown. In the second quarter Jared Tomjack had a 20 yard touchdown run and then the Renegades drove down and Pelster ran in a one yard touchdown. At the half the score was tied 12-12.

On  the kickoff return Loecker ran in a stunning 68 yard kickoff return. The Renegades answered with a 21 yard touchdown run by Greg Olson. The Cards responded when Kyle Regan threw to Ty Eiler for a 34 yard touchdown, to put the Cards up  24-18. The Cards scored once more to put them up 32-18. The Renegades scored again when Pelster hit Mike Smith on a quick jaunt into the end zone, but time ran out on them and they lost to the Cards 32-24.

Top rushers where Olson with 14 yards, Loecker with 58 yards and Tomjack with 57 yards. Pelster was 5/8 on the evening and Regan was 7/11. Leading the Cardinal defense was Loecker with 17 and Tomjack with 16 tackles on the evening.

The Cards are now 6-2 on the season and the Renegades are 3-5. St. Mary's will face off against Palmer on Thursday Oct. 25.
