Village of Inman Proceedings (4-10-2025)

Meeting minutes for the regular monthly Village of Inman Board of Trustees held on April 7, 2025. 

The meeting was called to order by Nicole, Chairperson, at 7:30 p.m. Roll call was taken. Board members present were Nicole Campbell, Randy Keil, and Murray. Clerk, Paige Willams, was also present. Kyle Campbell was absent. Scott Baker, Danny Lines, and Lisa Everett were present in the audience.

Scott Baker takes oath & is sworn into the Board of Trustees.

Board has pre-approved monthly bills prior to meeting. All bills on an autopay schedule have also been pre-approved. 

The current agenda, comprised of the March 3, 2025 meeting minutes & bills/Treasurer's report were presented. Nicole made a motion to approve. Scott seconded the motion. None opposed. Motion carried.

Randy made a motion to approve minutes from March. Nicole seconded the motion. None opposed. Motion carried. 

No public comment.

Old business: 

FEMA news – We need to file for an extension through the Federal government to decide if we will use steel or concrete. We have been working with FEMA/NEMA to no avail. They keep asking for adjustments. It has just been a back & forth with paperwork. We continue trying to get the extension. Nicole is working on getting all the specifications to Gary Connot.

New business: 

SLFRF: We didn't spend the entirety of what the US Treasury gave us in 2021. Our accountant said because of the turnover rate in clerks and board members we can either request a reconsideration if we have something to spend the money or send it all back. Michael made a motion to request a reconsideration. Nicole seconded the motion. None opposed. Motion carried. 

Hiring of new maintenance person. Set up interview.

Randy made a motion to adjourn the meeting. Michael seconded the motion. None opposed. Meeting adjourned at 8:06 p.m.
