Mary V. Burival

Mary Virginia Burival, 88, of O'Neill, died Thursday, July 17, 2025 at the Good Samaritan Center in Atkinson.

Visitation was held Tuesday, July 22, 2025 at Biglin's Mortuary in O'Neill.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, July 22, 2025 at the mortuary in O'Neill. Fr. Bernard Starman officiated.

Burial was in the O'Neill Cemetery in O'Neill.

Memorials may be made to the family for future designation.

Mary was born on Dec. 7, 1936 in Opportunity to Carl and Barbara (Mudloff) Belzer. Mary attended St. Mary's Academy in O'Neill. She graduated with the class of 1954. She attended the Upper Iowa University.  

After graduation she worked as a secretary and bookkeeper for a loan and finance company.

On June 27, 1956 she married Clifford Burival at the St. Patrick's Catholic Church in O'Neill. They became the parents of three children.  

She went on to work as an active partner in their farming and ranching operation, always working and doing what all farm and ranch wives do. Mary was a family person; she had a special love for her children and grandchildren.

Mary is survived by her daughter Deb (Julius) Hipke, two sons Clifford Burival Jr. and Steven Burival, two grandsons Jared and Jacob Hipke, all of O'Neill, and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents Carl and Barbara Mudloff, three sisters, two brothers and her husband Clifford Burival.
