The season is off! The boys didn't get a lot of transition time between seasons! We will get in shape playing the games. Niobrara played hard and it was a good way to open the season for us. Central Valley on the next night who was in the same situation as us with limited practices brought a good shooting and athletic team to Stuart. In both games, we had good balance in scoring and I thought we improved defensively in a couple areas from Thursday night. Kayde Ramm started the season well with 18 points and three steals; Gavynn Mustin had 17 points, eight rebounds and four steals; Hunter Tubbs 13 points, six rebounds and two assists; Jameson Estill nine points; Trey Wallinger four points; and Drew Schmaderer and Kaige Krieger two steals. Ramm led against Central Valley with 13 points and three steals; Tubbs had 12 points and seven rebounds; Paxton 11 points and seven rebounds; Mustin 10 points, 12 rebounds and four steals; Schmaderer six points and Estill three points.
