The O'Neill Lady Eagles traveled to Norfolk on Thursday, Sept. 28 to compete in the Mid States Invite. The O'Neill Lady Eagles qualified for state as they finished 3rd with a score of 408. Kaylin Gaughenbaugh she finished as the individual runner-up shooting an 85. Gaughenbaugh was the only medalist for the Lady Eagles. The Lady Eagles are led by head coach Ashley Belmer. The O'Neill Lady Eagles team qualifying for state were Gaughenbaugh, Cece Mlnarik, Claire Popkes, Aubrey Wohlert, and Suhani Chaudhari. Team Results: 1. Wayne 390 2. West Holt 395 3. O'Neill 408 4. O'Neill Senior's Cece Mlnarik and Kaylin Gaughenbaugh were each tied at 21st place after shooting a first round 92.3.
