St. Mary's Junior Varsity Wins O/C Tournament

On Saturday SMH junior varsity motored to Orchard and came away with the championship in the Orchard/Clearwater Booster Club Tournament. Members of the team were Tracy Vandersnick, Tracy Chvala, Riley Sibbel, Kaylee Harvey, Erin Boyle, Krissy Krotter, Emily Pongratz, Alejandra Kersenbrock and Sydney Hupp.

In the first game against Stuart SMH junior varsity won 42-13 and in the championship defeated a very tough CWC Renegade team 32-18. With the win we improved our record to 4-0 on the season.

Krissy and Erin led in scoring with 17 and 14 points for both games. Riley and Krissy led in steals combining for 13. Leading the way on the boards were Erin, Sydney and Tracy Chvala with an average of seven each.
