Meeting minutes for the regular monthly Village of Inman Board of Trustees held on October 7, 2024.

The meeting was called to order by Nicole Campbell, Chairperson, at 7:32 p.m. Roll call was taken. Board members present were Nicole Campbell, Randy Keil, and Kyle Campbell. Clerk/Treasurer, Paige Williams, was also present. In the audience were Bruce Bowman, Adam Keil, Holly Keil, Tina Lines, and Kathy Strope.

The current agenda, comprised of the September 9, 2024 meeting minutes, monthly bills, and Treasurer's report were presented. Randy made a motion to accept. Kyle seconded the motion. None opposed. Motion carried.

Public comment:

Holly: Commented on the cleaning of the attic. Numerous boxes of toys, thread, yarn, Easter baskets, and much more were moved from the attic to the back room. Most items are in good condition. Audience member inquired about the possibility of donating said items to local churches, animal shelters, or Bright Horizons.

Kathy: Inquiry of the cost of hall rental and whether said rental includes use of the kitchen. Cost to rent the hall is a $100.00 deposit, which is returned to the renter upon clean up when finished, plus $100.00 per day (from midnight to midnight). Hall rental does include use of the kitchen.

Kathy: Inquiry of the application for the grant associated with the potential green space which would replace the current library on Main Street. We hope to receive confirmation of acceptance/declination of said grant on or around October 15, 2024. All information regarding this grant will be discussed at the next meeting on November 4, 2024.

Kathy: Comments on the fund raising done for the village in the past & inquires of future fund raising. Audience member shows interest in participating in raising funds, should that happen in the future.

Old business:

Snow removal: We do have paper applications now, which are available to anyone showing an interest in being hired. We will keep advertising for this position.

Duct work: There was a miscommunication with the contractor. The bid was accepted, but we are still waiting for an estimate.
