Meeting July 11,2023

Called to order at 7:02 pm

Board members present were Nicole Campbell, Deb Morsbach, Sherryl Sawyer, Randy Keil and Kyle Campbell.

Minutes for the June 2023 meeting:  Sherryl Sawyer made a motion, seconded by Deb Morsbach to approve minutes as presented. Aye; Sherryl Sawyer, Deb Morsbach, Randy Keil, and Kyle Campbell. Nay: None. Motion carried.

A letter of resignation was presented on behalf of Brenda Harrison was unanimously accepted from the Village Board. A help wanted ad will be placed in the Holt County Independent.

South Park mowing: Sherryl Sawyer made a motion, Seconded by Randy Keil to hire Scott Zeeb to do the mowing at the South Park. Aye:  Sherryl Sawyer, Randy Keil and Kyle Campbell. Nay: None. Motion carried.

Delinquent sewer bills: Kyle Campbell made a motion, seconded by Randy Keil to follow Village attorney Ashley Boethcher's recommendation to write a shut off letter to individuals who are currently delinquent up to 90 days. Aye; Kyle Campbell, Randy Keil, Deb Morsbach and Sherryl Sawyer. Nay: None. Motion carried.

Second street tree removal: Tabled until August 2023 meeting.

Treasurers Report: Sherryl Sawyer made a motion, seconded by Kyle Campbell to approve the treasurer's report as presented. Aye: Sherryl Sawyer, Kyle Campbell, Randy Keil and Deb Morsbach. Nay: None. Motion carried.

Building permit: A building permit was presented on behalf of Jason Keil.  Sherryl Sawyer made a motion, seconded by Deb Morsbach to approve the building permit. Aye: Sherryl Sawyer, Deb Morsbach,  Randy Keil and Kyle Campbell. Nay: None. Motion carried.

Reviewed bills; Sherryl Sawyer made a motion, seconded by Deb Morsbach to approve bills as presented. Nay: None. Motion carried.
