Thomas J. Napier

Norfolk — Thomas John Napier, 67, of Norfolk, died Sunday, Feb. 2, 2025 at Faith Regional Hospital in Norfolk.

Visitation was held Thursday, Feb. 6, 2025 at Snider Memorial Funeral Home in Clearwater.

Funeral services were held Friday, Feb. 7, 2025 at United Methodist Presbyterian Church in Ewing. Pastor Janene Reynolds officiated.

Burial was in the Ewing City Cemetery in Ewing.

Memorials may be made to the family for future designation to ARC of Norfolk.

Thomas was born on April 29, 1957 to John and Loretta (Cuddy) Napier at Neligh. 

At age five Tom was admitted and educated at Beatrice State Home. 

At age 19 Tom became a resident of Region IV which is now known as Northstar, until the time of his death. 

Thomas enjoyed the special Olympics, bowling and playing bingo. He liked to walk to the Norfolk library and was very active in the ARC of Norfolk. Thomas was a huge Elvis fan.

Thomas is survived by his mother Loretta Napier of Ewing; four siblings Ann (Dwaine) Koenig and Bob (Marie) Napier, all of Ewing, Barb (Alvin) Beckmann of Norfolk and Jane (Rod) Frickel of Atkinson; and nephews and nieces Jason Koenig, Jeff Koenig, Kristi Napier, Josh Napier, Sarah Beckmann, Derek Beckmann, Matthew Frickel, Todd Frickel and Kent Frickel.

He was preceded in death by his father and nephew Clint Koenig.
