The Stuart Bronco Volleyball Team traveled to Taylor for their opener of the 2024 season and took on the Twin Loup Wolves. The girls started off a little slow in the first set, but quickly got going with strong serving and attacks up at the net. The flow got going after the first set and they won the next two. The JV's played two sets after the varsity game, with some of them playing different positions and learning to play with each other will take time to get used to each other. Once they get passed this then they can start focusing on their play. The Broncos then traveled to Plainview on Saturday and played good competition all day. First up was Boyd County. The girls had to come from behind on both sets but battled to get the win. The Broncos came up against a strong team in Boone Central next. The girls struggled getting the ball passed up and couldn't get the flow of the offense running. The last game against Plainview the girls played their best volleyball that day, struggling with sluggishness during the games beforehand, the girls were able to pass and move better on defense. Strong net play and all around play from everyone gave the girls the first set. In the middle of the second set we went through another setback and couldn't come back from it. The last set the girls bounced back and came out strong and never looked back This puts the Broncos at a solid 3-1 win rate to begin the season.
