The O'Neill and St. Mary's track teams will be wrapping up their season this week with a trip to Omaha at the Nebraska State Track Meet. The Eagles qualified four for the event with Drew Morrow in the Long Jump qualifying with a jump of 21-00.75 and placing second. Brooklyn Cahoy, placing third in the Pole Vault with a vault of 9'-08; Minlu Liu in the Triple Jump with a jump of 33'-10; Pryor Mathews in the Boys 300 M Hurdles qualifying with a time of 40.63. The St. Mary's Cardinals are sending nine. Qualifying are; Ben Barlow in the High Jump and in the 300 M Hurdles; Jace Rosenkrans in the dicuss; Mya Hedstrom in the Triple Jump and the Long Jump; Joslyn Eby in Discus and the Shot Put; Emmerson Mlnarik 100M Hurdles; Lorissa Reiman 800 M Run; Gage Hedstrom in the Triple Jump; Max Berg in the 3200 Meter run; and finally the St. Mary's Girls 4×800 Meter Relay taking first with a time of 10:19.61. Running the event were Emerson Mlnarik, Annabelle Barlow, Lorissa Reiman, Mya Hedstrom and alternate Kaylin Gaughenbaugh. The state track meet will be held Wednesday, May 15 through Saturday, May 16 with Class A and B on Wednesday and Thursday and Class C and D on Friday and Saturday.
