Sandra was born on April 30, 1947 to Leo and Mary (Schneider) Strong at Neligh. She graduated from Neligh High School with the Class of 1965.

She started working at Antelope Memorial Hospital in 1965, working in almost every department that the hospital offered. She retired from the hospital in 2013.

On Nov. 14, 2018, she was united in marriage to Robert Belik in O'Neill. They spent their winters at Rio Grande Valley in Texas. They also spent summers at Ft. Randall Dam Reservoir enjoying the walleye fishing.

She also enjoyed going to the casino with friends as lady luck was always on her side. Sandy loved to socialize! She was always dressed up looking her best. She enjoyed country music, loved to dance and was an avid walker with her dog Sally. She liked playing cards with friends and family and taught all the grandkids how to play Pegs and Jokers. Sandy also helped coach girls softball and taught CCD at the Catholic Church.

She was a lifelong member of St. Francis Catholic Church, and a member of the Rosary Sodality and the American Legion Auxiliary.

Sandy's greatest pride and joy were her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was always bragging them up and sharing pictures. She sat through several football, volleyball, basketball, wrestling and baseball games to cheer her grandkids on. Her encouraging words, warm hugs, homemade chicken and noodles and three layer dessert will be missed tremendously.

Sandy is survived by her husband Robert Belik of Page; five children  Brandon (Karen) Wright of Republican City, Brian Wright of Lamar, MO, Tara (Cory) Tebay of Whitehall, MT, Jeremy (Becky) Belik of O'Neill and Jennifer Munter of Belgrade, MT;  16 grandchildren  Lane (Taylor) Wright, Cooper (Brooke) Wright, Kortni Brooks, Baylee Wright, Matleigh Wright, Hannah Tebay, Cyrus Tebay, Zane Tebay, Quinn Tebay, Wyatt Tebay, Dylan Belik, Carson Belik, Bergan Belik, Jace Belik, Max Munter and Ethan Munter; three great-grandchildren Lettie Wright, Maddox Wright and Cylas Cackley; two brothers Leon (Merri) Strong of Oakdale and Larry (Barb) Strong of Norfolk; two sisters Sharlene Arehart of Neligh and Carol Mumm of Fremont;   one sister-in-law Janna Strong of Albion; one brother-in-law Jim Reidmiller of Albion; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
