Ruth C. Blezek

Ruth C. Blezek, age 76, of Holly Hill, FL, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Sunday, Oct. 25, 2012, at Florida Hospital HospiceCare in Daytona Beach, FL.

Memorial services were held on Monday, Oct. 29, 2012, at 2 p.m. at the Westminster by the Sea Presbyterian Church in Daytona Beach Shores, FL.

Arrangements were under the direction of Lohman Funeral Home Ormond in Ormond Beach, FL.

Ruth was born to Owen and Viola Parks in Page, where she grew up.

She married Glenn Blezek and  they resided in Victorville, CA, where she worked as a budget analyst with the U.S. Government at Ft. Irwin Army Base, CA.

Ruth was an avid Cornhusker football fan, she enjoyed reading, playing the piano and family gatherings.

She is survived by her son, Kent (Debra) Blezek of Tustin, CA; daughter, Glenda (Edward) Boone of Port Orange, FL; granddaughter, Kimberly Boone; sister, Jane Mardi of Page and several nieces and nephews.

Ruth was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Glenn Blezek.
