City of O'Neill (Owner) is requesting Bids for the construction of the following Project:

Municipal Water Improvements Phase 1B

O'Neill, Nebraska 2023 Olsson Project No. 022-05046

Bids for the construction of the Project will be received at the City Office located at 401 East Fremont, O'Neill, NE 68763, until Thursday, June 22, 2023 at 2:30 p.m. local time. At that time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read.

The Project includes the following Work: Construction of approximately 4,132 linear feet of 8” directionally drilled PVC water main, hydrants, valves, fittings, tie-ins, new water services, curb stops, connections to existing services, disinfection, testing, seeding, restoration, utility coordination, abandonment of existing 4” water main, and all other necessary appurtenances.

Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instruction to Bidders. NOTICE OF 

PUBLIC HEARING

NEBRASKA INVESTMENT FINANCE AUTHORITY

Notice is hereby given that the Nebraska Investment Finance Authority (the “Authority) will hold a public hearing at 9:30 a.m. on Friday, June 16, 2023, at the offices of the Authority at 1230 “O” Street, Suite 200, Lincoln, Nebraska, at which time any person may be heard regarding the proposed issuance of the bond described below. 

The Authority will consider the information obtained during the public hearing and take appropriate action that it may deem warranted including submission of a transcript of the hearing to the Secretary of State, the designated elected official who must approve or disapprove, pursuant to Section 147(f) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986, the proposed issuance of the bond.

Agricultural Division – The Authority will consider the proposed issuance of its $616,100 Agricultural Development Direct Loan Revenue Bond (Patrick J. & Brooke A. Riha Project #1377) (the “Bond”) in order to finance the purchase of approximately 320 acres of farm real estate located in the SW ¼ Section 21; NW ¼ Section 28, All in Township 30N, Range 16 West of the 6th P.M., Holt County, Nebraska.

All interested persons are invited to present comments at the public hearing (or, prior to the time of the hearing, submit written comments to the Authority at the address shown below) concerning the issuance of the Bond and the purpose therefore.
