NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the annual meeting of the North Central Public Power District board of directors will be held on January 27, 2025 at 6:30 p.m. and a public hearing on the North Central Public Power District 2025 Budgets will be approximately at 6:45 p.m. at the district office, 1409 Main St., Creighton, NE, which will be open to the public. The current agenda for the meeting, including a public comment period, shall be readily available for public inspection at the office of the district, during normal business hours. Among the items to be discussed at this meeting is the approval of the district's proposed budgets for 2025.  The proposed budgets are available for public inspection at the district office between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.

Request for Proposals

The City of O'Neill is requesting proposals for cleaning services for the City Office at 401 E Fremont Street, Solid Waste Office 87187 494th Ave and the Community Center at 501 S 4th Street. The cleaning service will need to provide their own cleaning supplies.  They must also provide proof of liability insurance. Please submit a separate proposal for each facility. Submitted proposals must be sealed and received by the City of O'Neill, 401 E Fremont St, O'Neill NE  68763 no later than 4:00 PM on Monday, February 3, 2025. Late proposals will not be considered. The City of O'Neill reserves the right to select the proposal considered most beneficial to the City. The City of O'Neill reserves the right to reject any and all proposals. Notice is hereby given that on August 23, 2024, Greg Jorgensen and Amy Jorgensen, as Plaintiffs, filed a Complaint and commenced an action in the District Court of Holt County, Nebraska at CI24-80, against the above named Defendants, all other persons or entities, real names unknown, having any right, title or interest in

Lots 1 and 2 of Block 33 in the  subdivision entitled blocks 28 to 33 inclusive to the town of Ewing, Holt  County, Nebraska, AND that part of Outlot “A” in the sub-division entitled Outlots and Pioneer Town site Companies First Addition to the town  of Ewing, bounded as follows: On  the north by a line parallel with and distance north 180 feet from the north line of Jackson Street, on the east by the west line of Pine Street extended north, on the south by the said north line of Jackson Street and on the west by a line parallel with and distant west 150 feet from said extended west line of Pine Street as said outlot is laid down and described on the plat of said  subdivision of said town. as Defendants, the object and prayer of which  is to foreclose a certain Certificate of Tax Sale issued by the Treasurer of Holt County, Nebraska on the Property which was sold at public sale on December 4, 2020, and identified as County Treasurer's Certificate of Tax  Sale No. 010281. The Plaintiffs are the current owner and holder of said  Certificate of Tax Sale.

The Plaintiffs allege in the Complaint that there is now due the Plaintiffs on said Certificate of Tax Sale the original amount of said Certificate of Tax Sale in the sum of $6,208.64, plus all subsequent taxes that the Plaintiffs have paid together with interest upon such original sum and additional sums as may be paid by the Plaintiffs at the rate of 14.00% per annum from and after the date(s) of delinquency thereof, costs and attorney fees.

The Plaintiffs pray that in default of payment by the Defendants of the amount due the Plaintiffs as aforesaid, the Property be decreed to be sold according to law to satisfy the sums found due to the Plaintiffs, with interest, costs of suit, and attorney fees, and that such Defendants be forever barred and foreclosed of all right, title, lien, equity of redemption or other interest in, to and upon the Property.

You are required to answer such Complaint on or before the 8th day of March, 2025.
