 The Lechtenberg sisters of O’Neill all competed in the Paw Pounding Fun Run held over the Summerfest Weekend.
Holt County TeamMates and O'Neill Police Department partnered up over Summerfest weekend to co-sponsor the 1st annual Paw Pounding Fun Run. 79 participants were registered for the event. Approximately $1,000 was raised with the proceeds being split 50/50 between the two organizations - Holt County TeamMates and the O'Neill Police Department K9 Fund. Overall winners were: 10K OVERALL ale - Cole Hilker, O'Neill - 43:40. Female - Shaely Thiele, Atkinson - 46:04. 5K OVERALL ale - Blake Walters, O'Neill - 20:45. Female - Tasha Lechtenberg, O'Neill - 23:37. 1 Mile OVERALL ale - Ben Thiele, Atkinson - 6:41. Female - Tessa Rainforth, O'Neill & Aurora Gutshall, O'Neill (TIE) - 8:23. inners in each respective age categories were: Male 10K nder 21 (1st) Ehric Strope, Inman. 36-40 (1st) Cole Hilker, O'Neill (2nd) Chad Dean, O'Neill.
