OHS Golfers Have Success

The Valentine High School golf team hosted their Invitational on Thursday, May 12th. The teams competing at the Valentine Invite were Ainsworth, North Central, Hyannis, Gordon-Rushville, Thedford, O'Neill, Valentine and West Holt.

Winning the Valentine Invitational was the O'Neill Eagles as they finished with a team score of 362. Karter Otte once again had a top five finish for the Eagles as he shot an 81 to place third individually. James Krotter  placed sixth and Riley Dinslage, seventh, also medaled for the Eagles as they each finished in the top 10 individually.

 The West Holt Huskies finished in third place as a team with a team score of 380. Mason Mitchell led the Huskies on the day as he shot an 83 to place fourth individually. Mitchell was the lone Husky to medal on the day.

On Tuesday May, 10 the Eagle Golfers competed in the West Holt Golf Invitational. The Eagles placed second as a team.

Individual champions for O'Neill were Karter Otte shooting an 82,  Riley Dinslage 86, Tate Stauffer 96, James Krotter 100 and Brady Brown 105.
