No Burning Ban Issued In Holt And Boyd County

Apr 20, 2022 (0)

Due to the extremely dry conditions, forecasted winds and warmer temperatures, fire danger will continue to be high throughout the area. Holt County and Boyd County fire authorities have issued a no-burning ban. No burning of any kind is permitted until further notice. Any fire that does ignite may spread quickly and be difficult to control. The burn ban includes no trash burning, campfires, or open burning of any kind. Anyone found to be in violation of the burn ban could be fined and held liable for damages caused by the spread of any fire.

Fire Chiefs urge landowners to keep stock tanks/water tanks full to help with water supply should the need arise and thank them for their cooperation and assistance.
