Take Down Two In Triangular

The Ewing Lady Tigers hosted a triangular last week with Elgin Pope John and Stuart.

The Lady Tigers played Elgin Pope John in the first game and won in two sets downing them 25-8 and 27-25.

Leading the Tigers were Riley Funk with 14 kills, six blocks, three ace serves and two digs; Katie Koenig with eight kills, five solo blocks and one dig and Tori Thramer with three kills, three solo blocks and two ace serves.

In the second set the Tigers took care of business against the Stuart Lady Broncos beating them 25-23 and 25-18.

Leading the Tigers again was Riley Funk with 12 kills, six solo blocks, one ace serve and four digs; Laura Hynes with 22 assists, two solo blocks and one dig; Tori Thramer with two kills, six solo blocks and three digs; Katie Koenig with seven kills, seven solo blocks, one ace serve and one dig; and Kelsey Brummels with one kill, one set assist, three solo blocks and two digs.
