The Stuart Broncos had a very busy week playing games on Tuesday night, Thursday night and Saturday in a tournament. Tuesday the girls traveled to Bartlett to take on a good Fullerton team and CWC in a triangular. The girls played a tough opponent in Fullerton in the first match struggling at times, but good passing led to a strong offense which kept Fullerton on defense and the girls were able to win in two sets. Next up was CWC, the Broncos started off slow but once they got going they never looked back. Strong play was given by all team members on the team. Thursday night Valentine traveled to Stuart for parents night. Good serve receive in the first and third sets help win big. In the second girls had to battle a lot of unforced errors but were able to come back at the end and get it done in three sets. Saturday the Broncos traveled to Ansley for the first time to play in the Ansley Litchfield tournament. The girls took on a tough Burwell team who came ready to play. A quick offensive kept the girl back on their heels and we struggled getting the balls passed up. The girls made a comeback at the end of the first but could not take the lead. The second set continued the same way except adding seven miss serves in set was hard to overcome. The girls were able to bounce back against their opponent in Mullen and were able to win in two sets. Last team the girls had to play in this tournament was North Central. The Broncos came out strong in the first set, but again unforced errors in the second. Set plagued the girls. Trailing 19-23 the girls were able to make a great run and win the second set 25-23.
